Has anyone experienced connectivity/community through this site?  Has it connected any musicians with filmmakers?  Curious to know what positive experiences anyone has had...seeing as the last comment was over a year ago.  Hope to hear from some of you.

I am a lyricist (ASCAP writer/publisher) interested in collaborating with concert pianist, solo cellist and string ensemble & symphonic arrangers.

@Andy,  Ok cool, there are lots of people working on films here, I'm just not sure as too how many of them have significant budgets for scores.

@Ron, I don't have a kettle drum, but I'll ask around!

@Hillary, That's fantastic, How long have you been playing? What studio work have you recorded? Is there a place we can listen to your work online?

I'm a violinist and have done some studio work.  Keep me in mind if you need a musician.

Hi My musical brethren! I love music, I am a percussionist and a vocalist. Anyone got kettle drum? I want I want. Or let me know how much they usually run for, thanks!

@Allan, Slide is quite a delectable style. I've only dabbled with it...enough to play basics haha.

@Andy, unfortunately I've only done scoring for free. I'm trying to build a reel, and learn how to make the transition into paid work. How is it affecting your business?

I have a couple of resonators; decent copies of a dobro and been playing slide for about 4 years.

@Allan, That's awesome! Do you own a Dobro? How long have you been playing for?

Upright bass, Sax, 6stg, dobro, harp and sing a little bit.  Rooted in the Blues.

I have played in a few commercials and a couple of indy films.
